Then lift the buttocks from the feet, bend the back and exhale and put the head close to the ground in front of the knees. Bend the surface so that the arms are straight. Hold the breath for 5/10 seconds and keep the head close to the floor, then inhale and return to the original position. Similarly perform the action 4/5 times.
The way Shashak hides his face in fear has some similarity with this asana, hence the name Shashangasana.
