Hook Worm

We cannot see the eggs of hookworms or hookworms with the naked eye. But the egg that goes with the stool is hard to find. It is about 1/2 inch long. It is male or female. When examined under a microscope, it can be seen that its face is curved. It bites the duodenum and jejunum of the small intestine with its teeth and absorbs blood and lays eggs there. Then after a few days, the patient becomes anemic and passes out with stool. Eggs hatch into larvae and feed on feces. The insects then hide in nearby grass leaves. If someone travels to that place barefoot, the disease germs enter the body through the soles of the feet.

Worms are usually caused by water, ice cream, or sauces. The incidence of hookworm is high in coal mining areas, tea plantations, and rural villages. The disease can be transmitted from an infected person to other people by any means. Roundworms multiply rapidly in the human body. They take refuge in the intestine and suck the intestinal blood.

Mebendazole
Cannot be given below 2 years of age. 1 pill/1 tsp in the morning and 1 pill/1 tsp in the afternoon for 3 consecutive days. It can be used on hookworm, thread/pin worm, round worm, whip or tape worms. Pregnant women are prohibited.
Albendazole
1 pill of 400 mg should be swallowed once in the morning or at night after a light meal on an empty stomach until the age of 2 years.
Ferrous Sulfate + Folic Acid
If the patient's hemoglobin is below 50% in the blood test.
Take 1 capsule daily after lunch.
Zinc Sulfate Monohydrate
1 capsule after lunch.
Cyanocobalamin
250 micrograms / 1000 micrograms 1 cc of the drug should be injected into the flesh after 1 day.
Pancreatin
1 serving 2/3 times a day after meals (10-15 days).
Loperamide Hydrochloride
First 2 capsules for adults and 1 capsule for boys, then 1 capsule 3/4 times a day.
