“May all be happy, may all be healed, may all be at peace and may no one ever suffer."
The cerebellum is a structure located in the brain that plays a key role in motor control and coordination. It is located at the back of the brain, below the cerebrum, and is divided into two hemispheres. The cerebellum receives input from various sensory systems, as well as from the brain's motor areas, and uses this information to coordinate movement and maintain balance.
In addition to its role in motor control, the cerebellum is also involved in cognitive functions such as attention, language, and spatial awareness. Damage to the cerebellum can result in a range of motor and cognitive deficits, including ataxia (difficulty with movement and coordination), dysarthria (difficulty with speech), and cognitive impairment.
