Ashwini Mudra is a type of Moolabandha Mudra. The only difference is that in this moolabandha the Sankhini Nadi has to be attracted in such a way that the attraction reaches the root; Ira, Pingala and Sushumna of Moolsthana are also affected by that attraction. But in Ashwini Mudra the Sankhini Nadi (Anal nerve) should not be attracted very strongly. After a little attraction, the attraction has to be relaxed immediately. That is, in the Ashwini mudra, the cavity has to be gradually contracted and expanded again and again. This mudra has to be performed 10 to 20 times at two o'clock.
