Lacases is a profoundly powerful medicine. The ill effects of its misuse are not easily or quickly removed. It is prepared to be the venom of the most venomous snake.

Whatever the disease may be, if it is found that the patient is aggravated by falling asleep and is compelled to wake from sleep, Lachesis should first be considered.

Emotional sensitivity shows that he is very short-tempered, easily agitated; Very suspicious, jealous.

Plague, erysipelas, diphtheria or carbal etc. young inflammations which become fatal within 24 hours, in all cases of lachesis such as fruiting, erosive, stomatitis etc. chronic diseases can be said to be incomparable to lachesis.

All discharges and all inflammations of Lacsis appear blue, green or black. Cold or phlegm, leucorrhoea, menstruation or menses, even the mother's breast is green, blue or black. Lactase activity is impaired by eating sour foods.

ল্যাকেসিস একটি সুগভীর শক্তিশালী ঔষধ। এর অপব্যবহার জনিত কুফল সহজে বা সত্বর দূরীভূত হয় না। ইহা ভয়ঙ্কর বিষধর সর্পের বিষ হতে প্রস্তুত হয়েছে। রােগ যাহা কিছু হোক না কেন, যদি দেখা যায় রােগী নিদ্রা গেলেই তা বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং নিদ্রা ভেঙ্গে জেগে উঠিতে বাধ্য হয়, তা হলে প্রথমেই একবার ল্যাকেসিসের কথা মনে করা উচিত। 

মানসিক স্পর্শকাতরতায় দেখা যায় সে অত্যন্ত কোপন স্বভাব, অল্পেই উত্তেজিত হয়ে উঠে; অতিশয় সন্দিগ্ধ, ঈর্ষায় কাতর।

প্লেগ, ইরিসিপেলাস, ডিপথিরিয়া বা কার্বাল প্রভৃতি তরুণ প্রদাহ যাহা ২৪ ঘণ্টার মধ্যে সাংঘাতিক হয়ে দাড়ায় সে সব ক্ষেত্রে ল্যাকেসিস যেমন ফলপ্রদ, ক্ষয়দোষ, উপদংশ প্রভৃতি চিররােগেও ল্যাকেসিসের তুলনা নাই বললে চলে।

ল্যাকেসিসের সকল স্রাব এবং সকল প্রদাহ দেখতে নীলবর্ণ, সবুজবর্ণ বা কালবর্ণ হয়। সর্দি বা শ্লেষ্মা, লিউকোরিয়া, রজঃ বা ঋতু, এমন কি মাতৃস্তন্যও সবুজবৰ্ণ, নীলবর্ণ বা কালবর্ণ হয়। টক খেলে ল্যাকেসিসের ক্রিয়া নষ্ট হয়।
