Tolangulasana - Brands

First, sit in Padmasana as shown in the picture. Then lie down with your hands on either side of your body. Now take the fingers of both hands below the waist and fasten them together. Now lift the upper part of the body from the waist (up to the head) and the lower part of the body from the waist (up to closed feet) with the weight of the body evenly placed on the fingers below the waist. After staying in this position for 5/10 seconds, relax your legs and arms and lie down in Shabana. This asana will be practiced 4 times by the first student at 5/10 seconds each time - then as ability increases, practice up to 30 seconds each time. Shavasana should be done for 10/15 seconds after each practice. Breathe in and out naturally while practicing this asana.
