Diarrhea, dysentery, anemia, poor digestion, including malaria, are general conditions for which the drug is selected. Emptiness in the stomach, lethargy in the abdomen, and weakness are characteristic symptoms of this medicine.

A tonic medicine is special after a debilitating fever. It is also used in fever like quinine but without ill effects.

Lots of watery stools and bowel movements. Heat and discomfort in the lower bowels. Diarrhea in camp, bloody stools, dysentery, malaria and after drinking contaminated water. Painless watery stools (phosphoric acid). Vomiting begins almost immediately after a meal.

Medicines are prepared from the Chatim tree.
