Hepatitis B virus - Generics

People with chronic hepatitis B may also require ongoing monitoring and medical care to manage their condition and prevent complications.

Prevention of hepatitis B involves getting vaccinated against the virus, practicing safe sex by using condoms, avoiding sharing needles or other injection equipment, and using precautions to avoid exposure to infected blood or bodily fluids. Vaccination against hepatitis B is recommended for all infants, children, and adults who are at risk of infection, such as healthcare workers, people who inject drugs, and people who have multiple sex partners.
