Nimodipine - Brands

Nimodipine inhibits inflow of Calcium ions into cells by blocking Calcium channels or select voltage-sensitive areas resulting in relaxation of vascular smooth muscle and myocardium during depolarisation. Nimodipine has greater action on the cerebral vessels because of its high lipophilicity.

নিমোডিপাইন ক্যালসিয়াম চ্যানেলগুলিকে অবরুদ্ধ করে বা ভোল্টেজ-সংবেদনশীল এলাকা নির্বাচন করে কোষে ক্যালসিয়াম আয়নের প্রবাহকে বাধা দেয় যার ফলে ডিপোলারাইজেশনের সময় ভাস্কুলার মসৃণ পেশী এবং মায়োকার্ডিয়াম শিথিল হয়। উচ্চ লাইপোফিলিসিটির কারণে নিমোডিপাইন সেরিব্রাল জাহাজের উপর বেশি প্রভাব ফেলে।
