মার্ক-করের আক্রমণ যত আকস্মিক ও যত ভীষণ মার্ক-সল তত নহে। মার্ক-সলে ক্ষত হতে অধিক পুঁজ নির্গত হতে থাকে, আমাশয়ে শ্লেষ্মা অধিক নির্গত হতে থাকে; মার্ক-করের ক্ষত হতে রক্ত অধিক নির্গত হতে থাকে, আমাশয়েও রক্ত অধিক নির্গত হতে থাকে।

গর্ভাবস্থায় মূত্ৰস্বল্পতার সহিত হাত-পা ফুলে উঠলে বা সর্বাঙ্গে শোথ দেখা দিলে মাকুরিয়াস কর প্রায়ই বেশ উপকারে আসে।

শরীরের দক্ষিণ দিক আক্রমণ করে বামদিকে অগ্রসর হতে থাকে।
