মানসিক দিক থেকে রােগী হতবুদ্ধি হয়ে পড়ে,  সাম্প্রতিক কালের ঘটনাও সে ভুলে যায় ; মানসিক যাতনা ভােগ করে, সর্বদাই কোন না কোন বিপদের কথা তার মনে আসে; তার মনে হয় যেন কোন বিপদ-আপদ আসন্ন, সেইজন্য সে খুব খিটখিটে হয়ে পড়ে এবং সর্বদাই কোন না কোন বিষয়ে অভিযােগ অনুযােগ জানায়।

জলের মত প্রচুর পরিমাণে প্রস্রাব হয়ে থাকে। প্রস্রাবে 'সুগার থাক বা না থাক, তীব্র পিপাসা, দুর্বলতা ও ফেকাশে ভাব বা ‘পেলর’ ও মাংসপেশীতে শীর্ণতা থাকলে ডায়াবেটিস রােগের চিকিৎসায় ওষুধটি খুবই কার্যকরী হতে দেখা গেছে।
