Cephradine - Brands

Cephradine is a semisynthetic broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic, it is active against infections caused by both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Both penicillinase producing and nonproducing staphylococci are sensitive to Cephradine. The main site of action of Cephradine is the cell wall of bacteria. Cell wall of sensitive organism contains peptidoglycan. Cephradine inhibits cross-linking process and as a result cell wall with many pores are formed, thus lysis of bacteria occur due to external osmotic pressure.

সেফ্রাডিন একটি আধা-সিন্থেটিক ব্রড স্পেকট্রাম ব্যাকটেরিয়াঘটিত অ্যান্টিবায়োটিক, এটি গ্রাম-পজিটিভ এবং গ্রাম-নেতিবাচক উভয় অণুজীবের দ্বারা সৃষ্ট সংক্রমণের বিরুদ্ধে সক্রিয়। পেনিসিলিনেজ উত্পাদনকারী এবং অ-উৎপাদনকারী স্ট্যাফিলোকোকি উভয়ই সেফ্রাডিনের প্রতি সংবেদনশীল। সেফ্রাডিনের ক্রিয়াকলাপের প্রধান স্থান হল ব্যাকটেরিয়ার কোষ প্রাচীর। সংবেদনশীল জীবের কোষ প্রাচীর পেপটিডোগ্লাইকান ধারণ করে। সেফ্রাডিন ক্রস-লিংকিং প্রক্রিয়াকে বাধা দেয় এবং ফলস্বরূপ অনেকগুলি ছিদ্র সহ কোষ প্রাচীর গঠিত হয়, এইভাবে বহিরাগত অসমোটিক চাপের কারণে ব্যাকটেরিয়াগুলির লাইসিস ঘটে।
